1. The service

AutoVinScope provides vehicle research reports assembled from public and licensed data sources plus AI-generated analysis. Reports are informational only.

2. Not a consumer report

AutoVinScope is not a consumer reporting agency. Reports may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

3. Permitted use

• Personal, non-commercial evaluation of a vehicle you are considering.
• No scraping, bulk querying, resale or redistribution of report content.
• No use of the service to harass, stalk or identify an individual.

4. Accuracy and coverage

Records come from third parties and may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Absence of a record is not proof that an event did not occur. A physical inspection by a qualified mechanic is always recommended before purchase.

5. Billing

Single reports and report packs are a one-time charge. You pay once for the number of reports included in the option you choose. There are no subscriptions, no renewals, and no recurring billing.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in our refund policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoVinScope is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
